AI creates new jobs!

Artificial intelligence is attracting increasing public attention and profit, and the global AI market was valued at $500 billion last year.

On this occasion, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia hosted a forum titled "Application of Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on the Development of Serbia," during which the Institute for Artificial Intelligence's activities and results, the possibilities of Chat GPT for companies and citizens, and ethical guidelines were discussed for the application of AI.

The panel was moderated by Dr. Branislav Kisaцanin, a AI evangelist of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence.

The application of artificial intelligence in industry, public services, healthcare, justice, and media was discussed by:

Jelena Jovanovic, Serbian Chamber of Commerce;
Stefan Badza, Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia;
Dr. Ivana Miljus, Faculty of Law in Belgrade;
Ljubomir Kljajic, Office for IT and eGovernment;
Nevena Ršumović, IJAS;
Slobodan Marković, UNDP;
Dragorad Milanović, SIS.

The rapid development of computers' or robots' ability to perform tasks normally associated with intelligent beings begs the question of whether we are witnessing a revolution or a risk. According to the World Economic Forum, machines or artificial intelligence could replace 85 million jobs by 2025. On the other hand, controlling those machines will require 97 million people. The results of this technology can be seen in pilot projects in energy, healthcare, and public administration in Serbia.
