The Innovation Fund improves the links between science, technology and the economy and contributes to encouraging the development of innovative entrepreneurship by supporting innovative entrepreneurship, especially at an early stage. The Fund also connects scientific research organizations and private companies for the development and commercialization of innovations.
The goal of the Fund is to enable new products, technologies and services to enter the market and establish long-term institutional support of the state for innovative entrepreneurship in cooperation with international financial institutions, organizations, donors and the private sector.
The Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for the period 2020-2025 stipulates that the Innovation Fund annually allocates one million euros to finance projects related to the development and application of artificial intelligence.
